You will also learn how to write stories and break down features, plan and execute iterations, and plan Program Increments. Finally, you\u2019ll learn about the continuous delivery pipeline and DevOps culture, how to effectively integrate with other teams in the program, and what it takes to continuously improve the train.<\/p>\n<p>Attending the class prepares individuals to take the exam and become a certified <a href=\"https:\/\/netmind.net\/en\/safe-certifications\/#sp\">SAFe<sup style=\"font-size: 10px;\">\u00ae<\/sup> Practitioner (SP)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/H0jOtn-uVho\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>Objectives<\/h2>\n<p>At the end of this course students will be able to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply SAFe to scale Lean and Agile development in their enterprise<\/li>\n<li>Know their team and its role on the Agile Release Train<\/li>\n<li>Know all other teams on the train, their roles, and the dependencies between the teams<\/li>\n<li>Plan Iterations<\/li>\n<li>Execute Iterations and demonstrate value<\/li>\n<li>Plan Program Increments<\/li>\n<li>Integrate and work with other teams on the train<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Student Profile<\/h2>\n<p>This course is designed for leaders and influencers who are responsible for the Lean Portfolio Management function. Examples include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Team members who apply Lean and Agile at scale<\/li>\n<li>All members of an Agile Release Train preparing for launch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Prerequisites<\/h2>\n<p>There are no prerequisites to attend this course. However, the following prerequisites are highly recommended for those who intend to take the SAFe Practitioner (SP) certification exam:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarity with Agile concepts and principles<\/li>\n<li>Awareness of Scrum, Kanban, and XP<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of software and hardware development processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Course Materials<\/h2>\n<p>Each student will receive a copy of the course documentation workbook prepared by Scaled Agile as well as membership to the SAFe Community Platform for one year ($100 renewal for each year thereafter).<\/p>\n<h2>Accreditation<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A certificate of completion will be issued to students who attend both days of this course.<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Attendees are eligible to apply for 15 PDUs toward their PMP<sup style=\"font-size: 10px;\">\u00ae<\/sup> continuing education requirements with the Project Management Institute<sup style=\"font-size: 10px;\">\u00ae<\/sup> (PMI<sup style=\"font-size: 10px;\">\u00ae<\/sup>). See the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scaledagile.com\/certification\/courses\/safe-for-teams\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SAFe website<\/a> for the PMI Talent Triangle<sup style=\"font-size: 10px;\">\u00ae<\/sup> allocation and also for applicable hours towards other PMI certifications.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>Attendees may be eligible to apply for 15 SEUs under Category C, toward earning or renewing their CSP through Scrum Alliance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Certification<\/h2>\n<p>Attending both days of this course prepares and qualifies individuals to take the exam and become a certified SAFe Practitioner (SP).
