Introduction<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Lean IT is an extension of Lean Manufacturing, a management model used in various industrial processes applied to IT environments. This management model is useful for organizations and IT departments to provide better services to the customers by eliminating all processes that do not add value. It focuses primarily on understanding value to the customer, continuously improving the processes that deliver said value, managing business performance, and the organization and behaviors required.<\/p>\n

This model applies to all aspects of IT, from requirements to maintenance. Applying Lean IT involves the entire organization, from employees to management.<\/p>\n

Lean IT complements most best practice guides, such as ITIL, PRINCE2\u00ae, and P3O\u00ae, and provides a set of tools that enable the analysis and improvement of all operation areas.<\/p>\n

By completing this course, you will be prepared to obtain the Lean IT Foundation certification. In addition, the Lean IT Foundation course is now available online, allowing students who prefer to take the course from to home follow the class in the same way as they would face-to-face.<\/p>\n
