It is critical for project teams to agree on a definition of done for a project phase or iteration. While this sounds simple, it can lead to very complex and difficult discussions. Not only does your definition of done need to be established early in the project, it needs to be applicable to every story.

As part of a crowd sourcing activity at the BBC Conference a couple of years ago, we asked BA experts and practitioners to share their experiences and ideas on how they determine their definition of done. We compiled their answers to create this Quick Tip.
