Introduction

The objective of the course is for students to perfect the knowledge and application of the techniques necessary to perform the role of Scrum Master. In addition, they will learn new techniques that will help them overcome the situations that may be found in their daily work applying the Scrum framework within the Lean-Agile philosophy.

Objectives

At the end of this course students will be able to:

  • Perfect knowledge and techniques in the facilitation of the different Scrum ceremonies.
  • Expand knowledge of the different Scrum roles and apply corrective measures needed.
  • Learn additional knowledge and tools for Agile product management.
  • Learn graphic management tools to support your work.
  • Resolve questions about the main dysfunctions of a team operating under Scrum, and have additional tools to correct them.

Student Profile

Those with previous knowledge and experience in Scrum, and especially those who are already playing the role of Scrum Master and want to perfect their techniques.

Prerequisites

Participants must have prior knowledge and experience in Scrum.

Course Materials

Each student will receive a copy of the documentation prepared by Netmind and the book “Coaching Agile Teams” by Lyssa Adkins.

Methodology

Engaging and interactive face-to-face course. The instructor introduces content using the demonstrative method; the participants learn new concepts through exercises and real application practices.

Certification

There isn’t an official certification associated with this course. However, students will earn 14 credit hours for their attendance.

Accreditation

A certificate of attendance will be issued to students who attend the course for at least 75% of the duration, and diploma will be issued to students who pass the evaluation test.
