Introduction

The objective of the course is for students to enhance their knowledge and application of the techniques necessary to efficiently perform the role of Scrum Master. In addition, they will learn new techniques to help properly address situations that may be confronted with in their daily work when applying the Scrum framework within a Lean-Agile philosophy.

Objectives

At the end of this course students will be able to:

  • Plan for and facilitate Scrum ceremonies that achieve the objectives of each
  • Understand the Scrum roles and apply corrective measures needed
  • Apply Agile product management knowledge and tools to enhance user stories and ensure proper backlog management
  • Learn graphic management tools to support your and your team’s work
  • Resolve conflict around commons dysfunctions of a team operating under Scrum and have additional tools to correct them

Student Profile

Those with previous knowledge and experience in Scrum, and especially those who are already playing the role of Scrum Master and want to perfect their techniques.

Prerequisites

Participants must have prior knowledge and experience in Scrum.

Course Materials

Each student will receive a copy of the documentation prepared by Netmind and the book “Coaching Agile Teams” by Lyssa Adkins.

Methodology

Engaging and interactive course. The instructor introduces content using the demonstrative method; the participants learn new concepts through exercises and real application practices.

Certification

There isn’t an official certification associated with this course. However, students will earn 14 credit hours for their attendance.

Accreditation

A certificate of attendance will be issued to students who attend at least 75% of the course duration.
