The aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to manage projects by applying the Agile Business Consortium’s Agile Project Management framework, as well as the details to implement the framework in their organization.
The Agile Project Management Handbook, published by the Agile Business Consortium, describes a framework for agile project management and delivery designed to help organizations and teams achieve results quickly and efficiently.
During this course, students have the option of taking the exams to receive the APMG AgilePM Foundation and AgilePM Practitioner certifications.
At the end of this course students will be able to:
IT directors, directors of technological departments, managers of software development or technological projects, project managers, analysts with responsibility for projects, and, in general, anyone who, for their professionals needs , is using or planning to use agile management in their projects.
Participants should have experience on projects and basic project management knowledge. Additionally, those wishing to take the Practitioner level exam must pass the Foundation level exam given at the end of Day 3 of the class before continuing on.
Each student will receive a copy of the course documentation prepared by APMG and a copy of the Agile Project Management Handbook.
Engaging and interactive course. Our instructors teach all course materials using the demonstrative method; the participants learn new concepts through exercises and real application practices.
At the end Day 3 of this class, students will have the option of taking the AgilePM® Foundation certification exam. Those who pass will be certified by APMG as holding the AgilePM® Foundation certification. At the end of Day 4, students will have the option of taking the AgilePM® Practitioner certification exam. Those who pass will be certified by APMG as holding the AgilePM® Practitioner certification. Get the details on both exams.
A certificate of attendance will be issued to students who attend the course for at least 75% of the duration.
