Introduction

Writing an effective business case includes presenting a compelling case for a particular audience in order to achieve approval to embark on a particular course of action. They are developed with the intent to present or sell a viable solution for a clearly defined business problem or new product. This business case training provides a framework for business case development and techniques that are appropriate for any type of project or program requiring funding or management approval.

Students will gain knowledge and skills by practicing writing and analysis techniques that will help them write a compelling business plan, identify appropriate approaches, and communicate and manage information that should ensure the approval to move forward with the project.

Student Profile

Analysts, product owners, project managers, program or portfolio managers or any other business partner or project team member involved with developing and writing a business case. This course may also be appropriate for individuals who manage team members and need a more in-depth understanding of the process and skill set that would be helpful in business case development.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites to attend this course.

Course Materials

Each student will receive a copy of the course documentation prepared by Netmind.

Methodology

Engaging and interactive face-to-face course. Our instructors teach all course materials using the demonstrative method; the participants learn new concepts through exercises and real application practices.

Certification

This course is included in our Business Analysis Certification Program. By attending this course, students earn credit towards the BA Associate and BA Certified certifications, as well as credit towards the Strategy and Solution Evaluation Badge.

Additionally, students will earn 7 credit hours for their attendance.

Accreditation

A certificate of attendance will be issued to students who attend the course for at least 75% of the duration.
