Introduction

More and more people hear things about Kanban. On numerous occasions, we end up reaching misinterpretations and/or biases that lead to a poor use of this method. So what is Kanban? How can it help improve the management of work on my team? Where can I start?

Learn the basics of Kanban with this course. Live your values, principles, and practices through practical exercises and simulation games that will allow you to design a Kanban board.

During these two days of training, you will experience how to improve the delivery of value to your customers, as well as to design a Kanban system oriented to your services.

Objectives

At the end of this course students will be able to:

  • Understand the Kanban method
  • Learn and understand Kanban’s principles, values, and practices
  • Understand how the Daily Kanban should be carried out
  • Design a Kanban board
  • Design Kanban cards
  • Know how to manage day-to-day interruptions and multitasking
  • Design a Kanban system
  • Understand and apply the principles of the pull system
  • Understand the difference between resource efficiency and flow efficiency
  • Understand the service classes for task management

There are no prerequisites to attend this course.

There isn’t an official certification associated with this course. However, students will earn 14 credit hours for their attendance.
