Introduction

The current ICT market imposes a pace of innovation and the need for cost efficiency, which is very difficult to achieve with traditional software development methods. This is why agile methodologies are being strongly imposed in a market in continuous evolution. In companies of all sectors there is a need to apply these new agile methods that significantly reduce the costs associated with poor customer requirements and expectations management.

The PMI® Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®) certification responds to this need, in order to know the techniques, tools and knowledge that are used in agile environments for each of the areas of competence, from the operative development teams to senior officers It also allows to know the practices of the most used methodologies such as SCRUM, Kanban, DSDM or XP.

At the end of this course students will be able to:

  • Understand the practices and tools of the most used methodologies: SCRUM, DSDM, XP, etc.
  • Sit successfully for the PMI® Agile Certified Practitioner® certification exam.

Student Profile

Project Directors, Product Owners, Agile Masters, Analysts and team members who use or plan to use agile development methods. In particular, but not exclusively aimed at professionals who wish to obtain the PMI-ACP® certification.

Prerequisites

It is recommended that students have participated in software projects for a minimum of 3 years. It is not necessary to have previous experience in project management. Likewise, students who plan to take the certification exam must accredit 2,000 hours of participation in projects, 1,500 hours of experience working in agile environments and 21 hours of training.

Methodology

Engaging and interactive face-to-face course. Our instructors teach all course materials using the demonstrative method; the participants learn new concepts through exercises and real application practices.

Accreditation

A certificate of attendance will be issued to students who attend the course for at least 75% of the duration.

Certification

All students who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of attendance issued by Netmind. The course also prepares students to obtain the PMI-ACP® certification. Students will earn 21 credit hours for their attendance.
