Introduction

The objective of the course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to design, manage, and lead organizations based on principles, methods, and a structure to create resilient and coherent systems from a systemic approach.

Objectives

At the end of this course students will be able to:

  • Understand the basis of the Sociocracy as a tool that allows a social organization to benefit from collective intelligence and to learn new ways of making decisions
  • Apply new communication tools and group process management
  • Investigate the processes of equitable power-sharing and breaking pyramidal structures
  • Understand the basic processes in Sociocracy
  • Practice decision-making and sociocratic choice
  • Understand the principles to develop co-participation and co-responsibility for the success of the organization

Student Profile

This course is designed for anyone who has organizational and management needs.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites to attend this course. However, the course can have greater impact for those who have experience working in teams with a degree of self-organization.

Course Materials

Each student will receive a copy of the documentation prepared by Netmind.

Methodology

Engaging and interactive course. Our instructors teach all course materials using the demonstrative method; the participants learn new concepts through exercises and real application practices.

Certification

There isn’t an official certification associated with this course. However, students will earn 14 credit hours for their attendance.

Accreditation

A certificate of attendance will be issued to students who attend at least 75% of the course duration.
