Introduction
In this course, participants will learn the different methods and best practices aligned with technical and business requirements to model, visualize, and analyze data with Power BI. The course will teach you how to access and process data from different types of sources, including relational and non-relational ones. You will also learn how to manage and deploy reports and dashboards to share and distribute content.
Objectives
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Retrieve data from different sources and create profiles, applying the necessary transformations.
- Design and implement a data model, enriching it with DAX expressions, variables, and aggregations.
- Create reports and dashboards for effective data visualization.
- Perform advanced analytics to gain in-depth knowledge about the data.
- Manage workspaces, datasets, and RLS configuration to collaborate and monitor the use of data.

Prerequisites
Qualified data analysts begin this role with experience working with data in the cloud.
Specifically:
- Understanding of basic data concepts.
- Knowledge of how to work with data (relational and non-relational) in the cloud.
- Knowledge of the concepts of visualization and data analysis.
- Solid knowledge of data manipulation using tools such as Excel or similar.

The trainer will also use different dynamics that enable group work, such as challenges, assessment tests, and real cases to prepare for the associated Microsoft certification exam, if applicable.
Certifications
This course is certified by Microsoft®.
At the end of the training, participants can take the PL-300 exam.
The terms of additional certification services are subject to those established by the license owner or the authorized certification body.
Accreditation
A Certificate of Attendance for course PL 300 will be issued only to participants with an attendance above 75%, and a Diploma of Achievement will be awarded if they also pass the assessment test.
