Introduction

This bridge course is designed for professionals who already hold the ITIL 4 certification and need to update their knowledge to ITIL Foundation (Version 5). The program focuses exclusively on the changes and improvements introduced in the new version, avoiding repetition of content already covered in ITIL 4 Foundation. The course enables participants to understand the evolution of ITIL towards digital product and service management in increasingly complex, automated, and AI-enabled environments, and prepares them to confidently take the corresponding official exam.

Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Identify the key changes introduced in ITIL Foundation (Version 5) compared to ITIL 4
• Understand the evolution of ITIL towards a stronger focus on digital product and service management
• Become familiar with the updated terminology and concepts of the new version
• Recognize how ITIL (Version 5) better incorporates digital contexts, automation, and AI
• Apply the updates of Version 5 based on prior ITIL 4 knowledge
• Prepare for the official ITIL® Foundation Bridge (Version 5) exam

Target Audience

• Professionals who already hold the ITIL 4 Foundation certification
• IT service, operations, support, product, continuous improvement, or IT governance managers who need to update to Version 5
• Consultants and professionals who want to keep their ITIL knowledge up to date in line with the framework’s evolution

Prerequisites

Participants must hold the ITIL 4 Foundation certification, as this course does not cover the full fundamentals, but focuses solely on the update to Version 5.

Materials

Each participant will receive the official digital course materials in Spanish.

• Review of new concepts, terminology, and approach
• Consolidation exercises and exam-style questions
• Exam simulation focused on certification
• Remote learning (when applicable)

Certifications

This training prepares participants for the official ITIL Foundation Bridge (Version 5) exam by PeopleCert. According to the official vendor information, this pathway is intended for ITIL 4 certified professionals, and the exam is available in both English and Spanish.

Accreditation

A Certificate of Attendance will be issued to participants with at least 75% attendance.
