Kanban Systems Improvement (KMP II)

Introduction

Gain the knowledge necessary for roll-out and daily operation of a Kanban system. Learn how to manage, optimize, scale, and evolve it over time. Learn how to improve agility with asymmetrical commitment and cadences. The class also covers recommended meetings, handling metrics, and setting policy.

Implement continuous improvement for sustainable customer satisfaction.

Attending this course is Step 2 in earning the Kanban Systems Improvement (KMP) certificate.

Student Profile

This course is designed for professionals who are currently using a Kanban system, have prior experience with Kanban, or are currently in the KMP training series.

Prerequisites

Attendees are expected to have read “Kanban” by David J Anderson or “Kanban from the Inside” by Mike Burrows. Prior attendance in the Kanban System Design or Team Kanban Practitioner class is preferred.

Course Materials

Each student will receive a copy of the official Kanban University documentation.

Methodology

Engaging and interactive course. The instructor introduces content using the demonstrative method; the participants learn new concepts through exercises and real application practices.

Certification

Attending this course is Step 2 in earning Kanban University’s Kanban Systems Improvement (KMP) certificate. (Step 1 is attending our Kanban System Design course.)

Additionally, students will earn 14 credit hours for their attendance.

Accreditation

A certificate of attendance will be issued to students who attend the course for at least 75% of the duration.
