What is Flight Levels?
Flight Levels is a simple approach that helps our organization connect strategy with delivering value to our customers, coordinating and aligning our teams and operations.
WHY FLIGHT LEVELS?
Achieving business agility depends on our organization being able to modify its competencies, mindset, organizational structure and ways of working in order to respond to new challenges. Many transformations have failed by focusing exclusively on creating agile teams. No matter how agile they are, having agile teams is not enough if they are not well aligned and coordinated with each other.
It is in this context that Flight Levels can be of great use to us. Flight Levels is not a framework, but rather a thinking framework.
It is a way of understanding our organization at different levels, distinguishing between Strategy, Operations and Coordination, and helps us to detect where in the organization it is necessary to act to achieve the desired results.
