Introduction

Developed in partnership with the Agile Business Consortium, AgilePgM^® teaches an agile yet flexible and disciplined approach to organizational change management, enabling you to play a key role in ensuring that a program delivers your vision.

Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Help establish flexible agile programs that respond to business change.
Use agile methodologies to encourage successful program delivery.
Actively promote trust and cooperation among stakeholders.
Help an organization achieve a faster transformational change at lower cost and risk.
Acquire the necessary knowledge to successfully obtain the AgilePgM Foundation certification.

The course includes in the final day of training the opportunity for participants to take the AgilePgM Foundation exam.

Participant Profile

The course is aimed at program managers, PMO managers, risk managers, project managers, procurement professionals, and senior business people who are responsible of programs.

Prerequisites

Participants should have knowledge and experience in agile project management and/or agile programs. AgilePM Foundation and/or Practitioner certification is recommended but not mandatory.

Course Materials

Each participant will receive the official course materials from APMG and a printed copy of the Agile Program Management Handbook published by the DSDM Consortium.

Methodology

Face-to-face, active, and highly participative course. The trainer will introduce the content using a demonstrative method. Participants will assimilate knowledge through real application exercises.

Certifications

Assessment based on group and/or individual activities. The trainer will provide ongoing feedback, at the end of each activity, and individually to each participant.

The course includes a practice exam based on the AgilePgM Certification.

By attending this course, participants earn 24 PDUs from the Project Management Institute.

The terms of additional certification services are subject to those established by the license owner or the authorized certification body.

Accreditation

A Certificate of Attendance for course JIS 443 will be issued only to participants with an attendance above 75%, and a Diploma of Achievement will be awarded if they also pass the assessment test.
