In 2017, AXELOS updated the PRINCE2® guide and launched new exams for the Foundation and Practitioner levels. This update is the most significant revision of PRINCE2 since 2009.
This course provides participants with a solid foundation in the new edition of PRINCE2® and detailed knowledge of all its capabilities.
As usual, the focus of this training is highlighting what makes projects successful and showing learners best practices in project management.
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
This course is for anyone who needs a deeper understanding of the PRINCE2® principles, process model and themes, and those who wish to obtain the official PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner certifications.
It is essential for those with extensive knowledge and even experience in project management but are unaware of an actual methodology that explains the vital fundamentals of project management.
This course is also very suitable for companies that frequently outsource internal or third-party projects. PRINCE2® shows how to delegate and manage projects from the customer’s point of view.
There are no prerequisites, although attendees should have some knowledge and experience in project management.
Each participant will receive a copy of the documentation created by Netmind and a copy of the official PRINCE2® Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2® manual from AXELOS, both in English.
The documentation created by Netmind includes a case study with exercises related to each section of the exam, among other learning aids.
The course includes the analysis and resolution of two samples of each exam. These models are used as guiding elements through which the knowledge acquired in the class is reviewed and expanded. It also helps to clarify all the students’ doubts regarding the use of PRINCE2® in real environments.
At the end of the course, if the course is taken in OpenClass mode, students will receive two vouchers, one for each exam, to take the online Foundation and Practitioner exams. The exams are taken at the end of each module on paper. It is necessary to have passed the Foundation exam to take the Practitioner exam.
To obtain the official AXELOS certifications, students must pass the Foundation and Practitioner exams in the following formats:
PRINCE2® Foundation exam
PRINCE2® Practitioner Exam
* This manual is part of the documentation provided in this course.
