Introduction

This course provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to manage projects by applying the Agile Business Consortium’s Agile Project Management framework. The Agile Project Management Handbook, published by the Agile Business Consortium, describes a framework for agile project management and delivery designed to help organizations and teams achieve results quickly and efficiently.

At the end of this course, students have the option of taking the exam to receive the APMG AgilePM® Foundation certification.

Objectives

At the end of this course students will be able to:

  • Understand the basics and principles of the Agile Project Management Framework
  • Identify the role of the Agile Project Manager and the other roles of the framework
  • Improve time-to-market and success rate of initiatives through stakeholder involvement and demonstration of project control.
  • Obtain the AgilePM Foundation certification

Student Profile

IT directors, directors of technological departments, managers of software development or technological projects, project managers, analysts with responsibility for projects, and, in general, anyone who, for their professional needs, is using or planning to use agile management in their projects.

Prerequisites

Participants should have experience in projects and basic project management knowledge.

Course Materials

Each student will receive a copy of the course documentation prepared by APMG and a copy of the Agile Project Management Handbook.

Methodology

Engaging and interactive course. Our instructors teach all course materials using the demonstrative method; the participants learn new concepts through exercises and real application practices.

Certification

At the end of the course, students will have the option of taking the AgilePM Foundation certification exam. Those who pass will be certified by APMG as holding the AgilePM Foundation certification and can go on to achieve their AgilePM® Practitioner certification. Get the exam details.

Accreditation

A certificate of attendance will be issued to students who attend the course for at least 75% of the duration.
