Introduction

The objective of this course is to provide students with the specific competencies to help teams in their transition towards an Agile culture. Systemic coaching favors open and committed relationships. It is essential in all stages of product development and its use is compatible with all Agile methodologies.

Individual and team level coaching isn’t enough for large organizations going through an agile transformation. It is critical to understand that people and teams are working within a system and that system can hold them back from fully embracing agility or being successful in an agile environment. Systemic coaches help instill agility throughout the entire system in a pervasive and sustainable way.

Objectives

At the end of this course students will be able to:

  • Understand systemic thinking and expand their capacity for action
  • Develop team-specific and system-level skills in agile environments
  • Understand how to implement the 11 core competencies of coaching
  • Apply a methodology and tools that facilitate the emergence of teams’ potential
