Introduction

Learn core concepts of the Kanban Method. Design and implement a Kanban board on the single-team level. Learn visualization of different types of work and associated risk. Become faster and more responsive, with better risk management and governance.

At the end of this course students will be able to:

  • Create a Kanban board
  • List the benefits of collaboration within the team
  • Know how to run daily Kanban meetings
  • Understand Kanban as an evolutionary way to shape a crowd into a crew
  • How to proceed to the next level with Kanban

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites to attend this course.

Course Materials

Each student will receive a copy of the official Lean Kanban University documentation according to the contents of the course, along with the eBook “Kanban: Successful Evolutionary Change for Your Technology Business” by David Anderson.

Methodology

Engaging and interactive face-to-face course. The instructor introduces content using the demonstrative method; the participants learn new concepts through exercises and real application practices.

Certification

This course is certified by the Lean Kanban University. It qualifies students for the Team Kanban Practitioner (TKP) professional credential.

Additionally, students will earn 7 credit hours for their attendance.

Accreditation

A certificate of attendance will be issued to students who attend the course for at least 75% of the duration.
