Courses for Data Analysts
The Data Analyst uses logic and reasoning to understand the data used by the business, develops insights from the data, and interprets the data in a way that enables an organization to make better, more informed decisions that drive success.
Data Analysts use perspectives to elevate the use of data within the organization for improved decision-making. These perspectives involve evidence-based problem identification and solutioning, innovation, process design, decision-making paradigms, and practices. Using qualitative and quantitative analysis, the data analyst helps organizations arrive at better, more robust solutions. The Data Analyst provides the business intelligence needs to the business: data mining, process analysis, performance benchmarking, and descriptive analytics and storytelling. The Data Analyst can also help the organization sort through big data to reveal patterns, trends, relationships, problems, and insights on human behavior.
Data Analyst responsibilities include determining how the data will be gathered, organizing the data, reviewing the data to isolate the good data from the non-useful data, analyzing the data to tell a compelling story, and enabling good decision-making based on the story.
