HR Professionals have a unique position to drive an organization’s transformation because they are the one business area that supports all others within a business. As Agile HR Professionals, they are responsible for creating and developing a people-centric strategy and ensuring alignment with the vision for agility.
While other “Non-IT” positions can adopt agile practices in their ways of working, Agile HR Professionals who work for an organization that is undergoing a transformation must change their ways of working to reflect the reality of supporting an agile organization. Recruitment, hiring, on-boarding, employee evaluation, and compensation practices must all be revised.
Agile HR Professionals are responsible for defining, leading, and analyzing projects and change initiatives (e.g. workforce planning, organizational excellence, etc.). Agile people skills will help human resources develop solutions, actions, and roadmaps that accelerate transformation and mitigate risks.
