The objective of the course is for attendees to learn and apply the techniques needed to work effectively on an agile team. They will practice approaching a project using the terminology, principles, techniques, and foundational concepts from the most popular Agile Frameworks: Scrum and Kanban Method, within the Lean-Agile philosophy. At a higher level, this course impresses upon students what Agile really is: a mindset, not a methodology.
Students who demonstrate understanding and application of the course materials will receive the ICAgile ICP Fundamentals certification.
At the end of this course students will be able to:
Anyone who wants to understand the agile mindset and ways of working, including team members, anyone who plays a supporting role for a team, all levels of leadership, and members of the Human Resources department who need to understand how they can support new ways of working.
There are no prerequisites for this course but it is recommended that students have experience working on projects as a team member.
In order to follow the course, students will receive documentation prepared by Netmind.
Engaging and interactive course. Our instructors teach all course materials using the demonstrative method; the participants learn new concepts through exercises and real application practices. We encourage students to keep an open mind to new ideas and approaches, then discuss how they might apply them. Students track the most important ideas and critical skills in an action plan to be implemented after class.
Students who demonstrate understanding and application of the course materials will receive ICAgile’s Agile Fundamentals (ICP) certification. This certification is at the core of the Agile Delivery Learning Roadmap. Netmind is accredited to certify students in both the in-person and live, virtual environments. Learn more about ICAgile.
Additionally, students will earn 21 credit hours for their attendance.
The conditions of the additional certification services are subjected to the terms of the license owner or the authorized certifying entity.
A certificate of attendance will be issued to students who attend the course for at least 75% of the duration.
