Scrum Framework
Scrum is an agile framework oriented to collaboration and teamwork, which helps solve complex problems through a set of best practices to achieve the best possible result by promoting common sense, direct communication, and continuous improvement among participants.
It is based on Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherland’s Scrum Guide, which defines it as a light, easy-to-understand framework that brings out points for improvement. Scrum has many variants and possibilities despite its simplicity, and although it was born in the software world, it is applied almost universally.
Scrum organizes work in iterative cycles, known as sprints. This way of working helps reduce risk and uncertainty by dividing the activity into smaller units, accelerating value delivery, getting early feedback, and encouraging continuous improvement. The Scrum team, composed of the Product Owner, Scrum Master and developers, builds an iterative and incremental product or service, making the inevitable changes to be managed most efficiently.
Scrum promotes transparency, generates a fluid collaboration framework between business areas (those who have a need) and the technical regions (those who solve it), encourages commitment and involvement and, significantly increases the quality and fit of results to customer needs.
