Alison (Ali) Cox has experience since the mid-1980s in various areas, including business analysis, agile, project methodology development and training, systems development (mainframe, client-server, and web), and telecommunications management. She began her career in the financial services area, and then moved into systems development for accounting systems. Ali has lived through IT initiatives from waterfall to implementing agile in her own small business, then helping other companies do the same through training and mentoring. She believes that having the small business mentality (everyone has to pitch in on everything) is the right kind of mindset for all organizations, no matter the size.
As Lead Expert in Business Analysis + Agile and General Manager for Netmind, Ali provides training and mentoring for businesses ranging in size from a single team to Fortune 500 companies worldwide. She also speaks Spanish fluently!
Alison is also a partner of TEMSS (Telecommunications Efficiency Management Strategies and Services), which provides telecommunications efficiency auditing and billing analysis services to clients in all areas of business across the United States. She completed her Master of Business Administration in MIS and Accounting from the University of Georgia.

Ali is a treasure and should be treated as such. She made the material fun and relevant. She didn't drone on and on, she had a great command of the room while treating the participants as adults. Ali is amazing! She is funny and entertaining and keeps the attention of the class. Her experience and knowledge are apparent while teaching and giving examples. I learned a LOT in 3 days! She moves at a perfect pace and is willing to make sure everyone understands.

Ali did a great job of tailoring the class topics to suite our groups needs. She did this quickly and without missing a step. She was also very good at modeling the techniques and process while teaching them, so we got to see some practical applications in addition to the course material.
