What is Gamification?
Games are inherent to human beings. Almost without us realizing it, they capture our attention and encourage us to become involved in accomplishing our goal to win. They allow us to put our knowledge and skills into practice in a safe environment, where we know that errors will not be judged and where, in one way or another, we feel encouraged to give the best of ourselves, because we are only playing. Games help a team experience a process in a fun, supportive environment that enables them to create effective strategies and practice the skills necessary to resolve conflict. Key points in the process are made more relevant, clear, and memorable through the action of playing.
Incorporating play into training delivery our was one of the primary objectives that drove us to create this our own methodology, NextB®.
