Introduction to ICAgile Certifications
The International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile) was established by a group of community experts to “change the way people do agile by helping them become agile.” Their foundation lies on the promotion of the agile mindset instead of a specific agile methodology or framework to allow for true flexibility in an organization’s application of agile practices. With an agile mindset, organizations can better prepare themselves for the uncertainty of today’s competition and achieve a sustainable, agile way of working.
ICAgile offers certification based on their two unique learning roadmaps: Business Agility Learning Roadmap and Agile Delivery Learning Roadmap. Both roadmaps share a similar structure in their core, learning track design, and certification hierarchy. Each learning track is formed around a discipline and has related Professional level certifications and an Expert certification. Unlike most industry certifications, all ICAgile achievements are received by the verification of knowledge through an in-class or panel assessment instead of testing.
The Business Agility Roadmap structures its certifications into:
- Core: Business Agility Foundations
- 3 Learning Tracks: Agility in Leadership, Operating with Agility, and Enterprise Coaching for Agility
The Agile Delivery Roadmap structures its certifications into:
- Core: Agile Fundamentals
- 6 Learning Tracks: Agile Coaching, Agile Engineering, Agile Testing, Business Agility, Delivery Management, DevOps, Enterprise Agile Coaching, and Product Ownership

Agile Fundamentals Track
Agile Fundamentals (ICP)
Considered the ‘gateway’ for all learning tracks in the Learning Roadmap, the Agile Fundamentals certification “focuses on agile mindset, values, principles and foundational concepts.”
ICP is the foundation certification for the Agile Delivery Learning Roadmap and is recommended for people new to the agile environment. Our Agile Coaching and Facilitation course is accredited to provide the ICP certification. Netmind is accredited to certify students in both the in-person and live, virtual environments.
Agile Coaching Track
Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF)
The Agile Team Facilitation certification focuses on “the mindset and role of an agile team facilitator, while also providing group facilitation tools and techniques for effectively designing meetings and workshops that both engage the entire audience and drive towards agreed-upon outcomes.”
ICP-ATF is part of the Agile Delivery Learning Roadmap and is one of two certifications in the Agile Coaching track. Our Agile Teams Facilitation course is accredited to provide the ICP-ATF certification. Additionally, participants in this course and our Agile Teams Coaching course (below) will be eligible to sit for the Expert in Agile Coaching certification panel assessment. Netmind is accredited to certify students in both the in-person and live, virtual environments.
Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC)
The Agile Coaching certification focuses on “the mindset, roles, and responsibilities of an Agile Coach. After finishing the certification, the learner will be able to differentiate between and among mentoring, facilitating, professional coaching and teaching, and will also gain the skills needed to create a safe environment for meaningful collaboration and healthy conflict resolution within an agile team.”
ICP-ACC is part of the Agile Delivery Learning Roadmap and is one of two certifications in Agile Coaching track. Our Agile Teams Coaching course is accredited to provide the ICP-ACC certification. Additionally, students who also attend and our Agile Teams Facilitation (above) course will be eligible to sit for ICAgile’s Expert in Agile Coaching certification panel assessment. Netmind is accredited to certify students in both the in-person and live, virtual environments.
Product Owner Track
Agile Product Ownership (ICP-APO)
The Agile Product Ownership certification “focuses on value-driven software delivery, the accompanying mindset, and key agile practices designed to emphasize customer value.
ICP-APO is part of the Agile Delivery Learning Roadmap and is one of two certifications in the Product Ownership track. Our Product Owner Fundamentals for Business Value course is accredited to provide the ICP-APO certification. Participants in this course and our Enterprise Product Ownership course (below) will be eligible to sit for the Expert in Product Ownership certification panel assessment. Netmind is accredited to certify students in both the in-person and live, virtual environments.
Enterprise Product Ownership (ICP-EPO)
The Enterprise Product Ownership certification “focuses on the behaviors and skills necessary to transform an output-based enterprise into an impact and outcome-driven enterprise.
ICP-EPO is part of the Agile Delivery Learning Roadmap and ins one of two certifications in the Product Ownership track. Participants in this course and our Product Owner Fundamentals for Business Value course (above) will be eligible to sit for the Expert in Product Ownership certification panel assessment. Netmind is accredited to certify students in live, virtual environments.
Operating with Agility Track
Agility in HR (ICP-AHR)
The Agility in HR certification was designed for people in HR positions – those hiring and managing an organization’s talent. “Participants will come away with the knowledge necessary to tackle new ways of thinking and working equipped with people engagement practices that are more humanistic and values-based.” This competency is also known as Agile People – learn more.
ICP-AHR is part of the Business Agility Learning Roadmap and is one of six certifications in the Operating with Agility track. Our Agile for HR course is accredited to provide the ICP-AHR certification. Netmind is accredited to certify students in in-person environments.
Business Agility Foundations (ICP-BAF)
The Business Agility Foundations certification focuses on “customer delight, and [bringing] innovation and continuous improvement into their work. This is a hard challenge and one that requires either building new muscles or limbering up muscles we may not use often and is intended to jump start the organizational and individual transformation towards a more responsive, value-driven reality.”
