Associate and Certified BA Certifications-en
Introduction to BA Certifications
In 2018, Netmind acquired their partner company, B2T Training. As a pioneer in the business analysis training industry, B2T established a BA certification program before the IIBA was even formed. The program recognizes the skill set necessary to enable change in an enterprise by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders. With the purchase, Netmind absorbed this certification and is excited to offer it to our customers.
While the program encompasses the breadth of business analysis, the path to certification is a personalized experience. Through the incorporation of badges, individuals and organizations can focus their learning experiences on the specializations that directly benefit their unique role/position. The program is made up of two certification levels and seven badge specializations. As they progress in their certification journeys, students will earn badges towards achieving the higher-level BA certifications.

Business Analysis Badges
Each badge was designed to concentrate on an area of competency or specialization. Badge selection should be driven by an individual or organization to address areas of improvement or career development. Think of these as the minors for a degree majoring in business analysis.
A few things to know about the badges:
- Badges can be received independently. They are not contingent on achievement of the certifications listed above.
- The hours required to receive a badge will vary. The receipt of a badge is based our instructor’s assessment of your knowledge and application of the material during class, not the hours.
- Our Essential Skills of Business Analysis course is made up of four individual courses. Each badge achievement requires one of these individual courses. They are designated with an asterisk (*)
